The Receptionist/Admin role includes greeting visitors at the front desk, answering the telephone, organizing patient bookings, taking patient payments and attending to daily email.
We are looking for candidates who can work 16-30 hours a week from Monday to Friday and possibly Saturday mornings from 8 am -12 Noon.
Candidates must be reliable, friendly, punctual, have excellent communication skills, be able to multi-task as well as having a high attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reception duties including answering the telephone, making appointments using ZANDA ( booking software), greeting patients, maintaining the tidy and clean presentation of the waiting room, restocking brochures and ensuring relevant patient information is on display.
2. General administrative duties including faxing and scanning documents, filing, emails, and patient data entry.
3. Using HICAPS and EFTPOS to take patient payments and ensuring accounts are correct on a daily basis.
4. Ensuring Workcover, Medicare and other billing claims are processed in a timely manner.
5. Maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of patients and their records at all times.
