About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Automotive Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our customers. This front-line role is crucial in providing exceptional service and support while assisting with the daily administrative and service scheduling duties of the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls, manage inquiries, and direct calls to relevant departments
- Schedule service appointments and maintain an organised booking system
- Process customer payments, invoices, and repair orders
- Liaise between customers, service advisors, and technicians to ensure smooth workflow
- Manage email correspondence and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
- Support general administrative duties and assist the service team as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (automotive preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Confident with Microsoft Office and workshop management software (e.g., SAM, Workshop Mate, etc.)
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
Desirable:
- Knowledge of automotive terminology and basic service processes
- Experience with invoicing, EFTPOS, and point-of-sale systems
- A current driver’s licence
