Lion, home to Australia’s most iconic beer and RTD brands – XXXX, Furphy, Guinness, Stone & Wood, and Kirin Hyoketsu (to name a few) – is looking for a passionate and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead one of our Victorian sales teams. The region encompasses Melbourne’s northern suburbs, stretching from Brunswick and Bulleen out to Bendigo and Mt Buller! If you’re based in Melbourne, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to lead your team to success, this full-time, permanent role could be perfect for you.
Your Mission:
- Deliver with Impact: Lead the charge to exceed volume, revenue, and market share goals. Drive performance across all field sales KPIs to ensure exceptional outcomes for both your team and Lion.
- Negotiate with Purpose: Take the lead in Pourage Rights negotiations and business reviews with key customers across your region, ensuring mutual success and long-term growth.
- Own Customer Engagement: Develop and execute a customer engagement plan that drives relationships, satisfaction, and loyalty across the region.
- Collaborate for Success: Work seamlessly with internal stakeholders to align on business priorities, ensuring a unified approach to achieving results.
- Manage Budgets: Oversee discretionary and overhead budgets in line with budget, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources.
- Coaching and Development: Develop and implement a targeted infield coaching plan for your direct reports, empowering them to grow and succeed in their roles.
Your Edge:
- Proven Leadership: You’ve led high-performing teams and delivered exceptional sales results, particularly in liquor, FMCG, pharmaceutical or adjacent industries.
- Strategic Thinker: You can balance short-term objectives with long-term growth, making decisions that have a lasting impact on both the business and the customer.
- Relationship Builder: You know how to nurture strong partnerships with key customers, ensuring success is a shared goal.
- Financial Acumen: Managing budgets, forecasts, and trade spend investments is second nature to you – and you do it with precision and care.
- Coaching Expertise: You know how to guide, mentor, and motivate a team to reach their full potential.
- Must-Haves: A valid driver’s licence and permanent working rights in Australia.
