The Department
The Lung Transplant Service in the Department of Respiratory Medicine requires an experienced Research Nurse/Coordinator.
The Role
This role will be responsible for supporting coordination and management of lung transplant clinical trials and research activities. Duties include:
- Assist with the management of our post lung transplantation biobank
- Enrol patients into our wide range of clinical research projects
- Assist with Ethics and Research documentation
- This role requires occasional weekend on call
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
- Minimum 5 years acute nursing experience
- Must be proficient in venopuncture
- Respiratory and relevant transplant nursing experience an advantage
- Clinical research experience/qualifications and data management experience is an advantage
