As a Regional General Manager with us you have a chance to make a real impact! Through leading and shaping our SME and Small Business Banking team across NW Melbourne, you’ll live and breathe our purpose of creating better futures together. With a strategic lens you’ll drive deep and meaningful customer and community relationships across Small and Medium Enterprises (for us, that’s customers with business lending requirements up to $3M), not only giving them a great experience but also leading a service revolution through innovation, productivity and efficiency.
As an inspirational leader, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to coach and mentor our team of business bankers and take their performance to the next level, driving profitability and market share.
What do I need?
- Strategic Leadership & Sales Coaching Experience - Proven ability to lead and coach a team of SME business bankers, driving performance, profitability, and market share through strategic planning and mentoring
- Commercial Acumen & Risk Management -Strong understanding of business credit, financial services markets, and risk assessment.
- Customer-Centric Relationship Building - Expertise in developing deep, meaningful relationships with SME clients, enhancing customer experience and loyalty through tailored banking solutions
- Operational & Financial Management - Skilled in managing regional budgets and analysing financial data
- Project & Data Management - Ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously, using data analysis to inform decisions, predict trends, and assess business impact
- Adaptability & Innovation - Capacity to thrive in dynamic environments, adapt and drive innovation, productivity, and efficiency across teams
