The role
As Tribe Leader, you'll lead a cross-functional team to build new growth paths, boost customer engagement, and maximize lifetime value (LTV) in the SME cashflow space. You'll drive innovation, speed, and impact—delivering transformative products that help SMEs thrive across payments & receivables. The tribe's primary goal is to generate $5M in monthly Gross Transaction Value (GTV) by June 2026.
What you'll be doing
- Lead a high-performing tribe of engineers, product managers, designers, and marketers.
- Oversee the SME Apps tribe as a strategic pillar, managing a $2M annual investment.
- Build new S-curves and deliver scalable, profitable solutions – focused on Payments & Receivables.
- Drive SME adoption and retention through data-led engagement strategies.
- Maximise LTV via analytics, personalisation, and feature innovation.
- Champion agile practices for rapid delivery and alignment.
- Own product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring customer-centric outcomes.
- Use AI, APIs, MCPs and cloud tech to enhance receivables, payments, and billing tools.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, bold thinking, and fast execution.
- Collaborate across Prospa to align tribe goals with company strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
- 10+ years in fintech, startups, or financial services leadership
- Proven success leading agile, cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of SME cashflow challenges and fintech technologies
- Experience driving growth and LTV through experimentation and customer insights
- Agile expert with hands-on delivery experience
- Fast-paced operator who thrives in ambiguity
- Strong communicator and team motivator
- Skilled in analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Tableau)
- Passion for fintech and customer-first innovation
- Visionary communicator with strategic clarity
- Accountable for tribe outcomes and delivery

Nice-to-haves
- Experience scaling SME or B2B fintech products
- Familiarity with AI forecasting, blockchain, or real-time payments (e.g., NPP)

- Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master)
