Select Roofing & Guttering (SRG) is a Tasmanian roofing and home improvements manufacturer. Acquired by Stratco in 2021, their extensive range of products includes roofing, rainwater products, patio systems, and an innovative range of fascia designs that are custom made in Hobart.
THE OPPORTUNITY
SRG are looking for a motivated and experienced Roof Plumbing Tradesperson to join the team. This position will be primarily for managing the installation of various roofing components across a variety of new and existing homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a small team of apprentices/tradespeople with installation of fascia's, gutters, roofing & flashings for new homes
- Conduct architectural cladding projects
- Engage in re-roofing & guttering projects
- Install Stratco Outback Patios
- Liaise with customers regarding project work conducted
- Report to General Manager on project related and staff activities
- Participate in product training relative to your work
- Demonstrate attention to detail and be quality assurance focused
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
- Certificate III in Roof Plumbing or relevant experience
- White card
- Previous experience in leading or directing tradespeople/apprentices in project work
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
