Turner & Townsend's Data and Digital Advisory team is expanding and looking for a Senior Consultant to join the team. As a member of our Data & Digital Consulting team, you will be ‘output’ focused and have experience working across a variety of sectors and client types, supporting delivery and implementation of performance improvements across Portfolios and Programs of work. In addition to driving impactful client outcomes you will be expected to support business and service development to help grow our team and market presence. We are looking for someone with a passion for data improvements and client excellence, but who is also keen to help build our team and service profile and as continue on our journey as a leader within industry.
Job Description
As a Senior Consultant, you will support the key analytical and system development activities performed by the Consulting Data and Digital Team for our clients, including:
- Data Strategy: Providing data strategy and design recommendations based on data maturity diagnostics.
- Digital Technology: Developing digital technology strategies, including investment recommendations.
- Project Implementation: Leading digital project implementation through stakeholder management and scope coordination.
- Client Reports: Developing key client data insight reports to drive enhanced portfolio performance and management.
- Management Systems: Developing program/portfolio management systems to improve delivery reporting and control.
- Data Management: Deploying enhanced data management frameworks and managing increased levels of data competency across organisations.
Qualifications
- Education: A degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in management consulting, business management, project management, or information technology.
- Skills: Good understanding of business improvement approaches, including business process re-engineering, system development, change management, and other relevant techniques.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attributes: Enthusiastic, with the ability to work autonomously and strong problem-solving and consulting skills.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management experience, working in teams across multiple clients.
- Sector Experience: Preferred experience working across various sectors, including aviation, energy, rail, water, property, and both the private and public sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in digital and technology strategy and enhancement recommendations, data strategy and architecture design management, digital project implementation management, system integration, application development, analytical reporting skills, scenario analytics and modelling, data interrogation and cleaning, source data standardisation and key mapping skills, data model development, and development of key insights reports.
- System Knowledge: System knowledge in Business Intelligence (PowerBi/Tableau), Programming (Python/R Data, MS Visual Studio), MS365 Power Platform, and Database Platform Development (Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Azure Platform
