Job Description
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with governance frameworks and stakeholder expectations.
- Project Governance – Support projects through established governance structures, systems and processes.
- Planning and Scheduling – Lead inputs into detailed project plans and ensure alignment with programme milestones.
- Stakeholder Communication – Manage the flow of project information across teams and stakeholders through meetings and written updates.
- Meeting Leadership – Arrange, attend and chair progress meetings; document outcomes and drive follow-up actions.
- Change Management – Oversee the change control process to maintain scope, budget and timeline integrity.
- Reporting and Forecasting – Manage the reporting cycle, interface with project leads, and produce structured monthly reports for internal and executive audiences.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record in infrastructure delivery.
- Extensive Experience – Minimum of ten years in project or construction management, ideally within infrastructure.
- Professional Qualification – Degree-qualified in construction, engineering, project management, architecture, information technology or a related field.
- Lifecycle Knowledge – Deep understanding of the full project lifecycle, from concept to completion and review.
- Industry Expertise – Experience in design, management or construction within a project management environment.
- Technical Capability – Strong knowledge of project management tools, techniques and reporting systems.
- Client-Facing Experience – Proven ability to work in client-focused environments, particularly within the Australian market.
- Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
