About Infrastructure SA
Infrastructure SA (ISA) provides independent and trusted expert advice to the Government to improve infrastructure and asset management, planning, prioritisation and delivery.
About the role
The Manager, Infrastructure Assurance is accountable to the Director Infrastructure Assurance for contributing to the leadership of the assurance function across the South Australian Government's infrastructure program and asset initiatives. The role will ensure that Infrastructure SA continues to promote capital infrastructure and asset management best practice to Government and its agencies.
About You
- Excellent knowledge and experience in major asset and infrastructure policy, program, planning and delivery requirements.
- Highly developed ability to analyse business cases, asset and infrastructure proposals for various economic, social and environmental outcomes across a variety of sectors.
- Extensive demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including all levels of government, industry bodies and the community.
- Senior experience in facilitating agreed outcomes across competing interests and different stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple, concurrent matters within deadlines.
- High level verbal and written communication skills, especially engagement, coordination and report writing.
- Sound experience in working in a politically sensitive and confidential environment and in liaising with senior executives towards agreed outcomes.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
Essential Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in one of the following professional stream occupational groups recognised by the Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment: architects, engineers, planners and planning officers and quantity surveyors.For more information please see the role description:
