As the Enterprise Quality Assurance Manager, you are passionate about the value that Quality Assurance teams can bring to the business and will be instrumental in maturing Great Southern Bank’s quality assurance practices. You will be responsible for leading a team of committed Senior Analysts and Analysts responsible for the detailed design, implementation of new QA to the enterprise, and then assuming support of these systems, tools, and processes.

This role is hands-on as you, and your team, will be embedded in the business and interacting with a large variety of stakeholders across the Enterprise.

Please note this is a Brisbane based role.


You’ll make an impact by:

  • Co-creating and managing the strategy and direction of enterprise quality assurance with the Senior Manager, Business Controls & EQA, including the execution of quality assurance reviews.
  • Being accountable for the detailed design and implementation of the Enterprise Quality Assurance Approach processes, systems, and tools (e.g. CX-One, question sets, sampling tools and methodology).
  • Providing reporting that is used for multiple purposes including the ability to identify opportunities to improve process, policy, and people; and assurance that the enterprise is meeting regulatory requirements, compliance to obligations and the NHFIC scheme.
  • Lead the team to manage and resolve actions from reviews by Internal Audit, 2LOD and our Risk Partners, together with the delivery of key BAU deliverables are achieved on time, on budget and to agreed scope and quality.
  • Cultivating strong working relationships with our three lines of defence for COO and COO: risk, credit risk, 2LOD, internal and external auditors.

Do things differently with us

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with exposure to multiple quality assurance models, processes, and tools (essential).
  • 3 years of managing people and a team to deliver outcomes and the right organisation culture (essential).
  • Demonstrated experience in a project environment with multiple simultaneous deliverables, and proven stakeholder management.
  • Passion and evidence of your analytical and problem-solving skills, showcasing your strategic thinking and adaptability.
  • Degree qualification in Business or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of relevant Finance industry standards, acts, codes, and legislation (e.g.: APRA, Consumer Credit Code, Credit Union Code of Practice, Privacy Act, Trade Practices Act, FSRA).
