Job Description
We’re on the hunt for a SharePoint Administrator who’s not just tech-savvy, but passionate about driving smarter, more connected ways of working.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things SharePoint including managing, configuring, and optimising our environment to ensure it’s secure, high-performing, and always available. But this isn’t just about keeping the lights on. You’ll partner with teams across AFCA to unlock powerful collaboration and document management solutions that make a real impact. You'll have proven experience in SharePoint Administration with the ability to enhance and cross skill others. Typically in this role you will:
- Implement, maintain, and administer Microsoft 365 collaborative tooling platforms, with a primary focus on SharePoint.
- Develop, test, and implement policies and procedures to enhance the M365 ecosystem.
- Identify and suggest opportunities to improve existing implementations.
- Drive overall M365 platform maturity and innovation.
- Document processes, procedures, and techniques for L1/L2 Service Desk triage.
- Collaborate, cross-train, and manage relationships with the L1/L2 Service Desk team on issue resolution for all supported M365 platforms.
- Develop and maintain Knowledge Base articles for L1/L2 Service Desk reference.
- Develop and maintain training articles for end users.
- Maintain frequent communication with peers, leadership, and adjacent IT teams to stay aware of emergent issues and changing processes/standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement SharePoint solutions that support AFCA's mission.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams to deliver technology solutions that enhance organisational effectiveness.
- Implement and maintain security policies and access controls.
- Configure authentication methods and user permissions.
- Ensure compliance with organisational security standards, regulations, and AFCA's data governance requirements.
- Monitor and audit SharePoint usage and access patterns.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in SharePoint administration and development.
- Microsoft Certications - SharePoint Administrator Associate, Administrator Expert or Azure Administrator Associate are desired.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, MS Teams and SharePoint Online required.
- Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in SharePoint Server 2016/2019 and SharePoint Online and M365 Collaboration tools.
