About the Opportunity
Do you have great admin skills, enjoy interacting with others, and have a passion for the housing, renovation and DIY industry?
We have an immediate opportunity for an energetic and friendly casual Showroom Consultant to join our QLD team. You will serve retail and trade customers within the home renovation and new build markets, looking for your expert advice and service. Confident and able to naturally engage and build rapport with anyone who walks into our showroom, you will be at ease as you develop positive customer relationships.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting showroom walk-ins, phone and web enquiries
- Service customer quote and order enquiries
- Update leads progress in CRM
- General administration assistance to the sales team including scheduling appointments, preparing documents and presentations and managing correspondenc
- Ensure showroom is neat and presentable at all times
This casual role offers a maximum of 12.6hrs a week, working every Saturday 9am - 2pm as well as up to two week days (full days 9am - 5pm).
Full training will be provided during the first 4 weeks between our Fortitude Valley Showroom and Helensvale Showroom where our QLD Head Office is located:
- Week 1 & 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday
- Week 3 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
- Week 4 - Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday
About You
We’re looking for a someone who is motivated and self-driven with a "can-do” attitude. An ideal person for this role would have prior Retail experience with face-to-face customer service. Your communication, people and relationship skills and your commitment to providing outstanding customer service will be key in ensuring your success in this position.
You will have:
- confidence in talking to a wide variety of customers
- previous experience with a CRM (ideal but not essential) Salesforce – or the ability to learn
