About the role – Max Term Part Time: Monday - Thursday 9am to 5pm 0.8 FTE

Join Baptist Care SA and support our mission to empower South Australians in need. Based at our Salisbury Office, this role is responsible for reception duties, coordinating meetings and site activities, maintaining office supplies, and providing administrative support across our community programs. You'll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing a range of office tasks.

Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Provide front desk reception, greet visitors, and manage phone and email communications.
  • Support daily office operations, including meeting coordination, maintaining supplies, and general admin tasks.
  • Prepare and manage client records, reports, and documentation in line with organisational procedures.
  • Assist with financial processes such as invoicing, credit card reconciliation, and purchase orders.

About you:

You’re a friendly and reliable professional with strong administration skills and a passion for supporting others. You thrive in a busy environment, are highly organised, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. With at least two years of admin experience, ideally in a community services setting, you’re confident managing reception duties, handling sensitive information, and juggling multiple priorities. You bring a positive attitude, cultural awareness, and a commitment to creating a welcoming and respectful space for clients, staff, and visitors alike.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • VET Cert III in Administration or similar qualifications.
  • Evidence of administration experience of more than 2 years.
  • Demonstration of clear and effective communication skills, including written and verbal.
  • Ability to work with others with Culturally Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Backgrounds.
