The role: You will support the effective delivery of the Social Links group experiences to enable customers to live Good Lives by connecting with their community through experiences that match their interests. Whether customers have a passion for art, love to sing or enjoy playing golf, there’s a group experience to match their interest.
Join the team on a part-time basis (Tuesday to Saturday) - 9:30am to 3:30pm each week to support one of our residential facility "Highercombe" based at Hope Valley.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the planning and logistics for new and existing groups, applying strong leadership and innovation
- Administration, scheduling and compliance tasks
- Support customer, volunteers and other staff to engage with and empower people who are older
- Promote and grow the Social Links Programs
- Work collaboratively to plan and support customer participation
- Participate in co-design and evaluation utilising insights into customers’ preferences
- Strong customer service approach
- Strong documentation skills with intermediate computer literacy
- Skills to motivate and engage individuals and enhance & develop abilities, skills and interests
- Proactive, relationship oriented with outstanding time management
- To care about supporting older people to live a Good Life
- Ideally have a Certificate IV in Community Services, Aged Care, Service Coordination or working towards a relevant qualification
- A current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- A Police Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old upon commencement
