Epworth Geelong is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Grade 2 Social Worker to provide comprehensive social work services on a casual basis.
You will work in an energetic and cohesive clinical team that strives for excellence in patient care. The social work department offers a high level of clinical support and supervision, as well as a strong commitment to professional development activities and quality projects. Clinical responsibilities will include undertaking comprehensive psychosocial assessments, family work, outpatient work, and discharge planning as well as involvement in student supervision.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive skills, enthusiasm and commitment to your work and embrace the opportunity to contribute to the positive culture at Epworth HealthCare
- A minimum of three years of relevant social work experience in a hospital, rehabilitation or other healthcare setting
- Clinical experience and/or knowledge in the area of brain injury and trauma rehabilitation would be highly regarded
- Well-developed expertise in assessment, intervention and discharge planning for a complex patient cohort
