The Specialist: Inventory and Materials Management provides direct output support to the Manager: Regional Supply Chain, through establishment and maintenance of effective inventory management in support of the Regional Supply Chain.
Accountabilities
- Optimise stock holding strategies for inventory materials
- Maintain inventory classification of materials with regards to criticality and inventory type
- Run regular inventory management reports
- Analyse usage & seasonal trends of inventory
- Draft weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required
- Support additional tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the Manager: Regional Supply Chain
- Identify and implement opportunities for common supply across operational assets
- Manage and run MRP process
- Monitor and manage the repairable/rotable process across operational assets
About you

- Proven ability in verifying and analysing data
- Prior experience in inventory control/management, ideally within the mining industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to liaise effectively across teams
- Demonstrated experience working with SAP
- Oniqua Analytics experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations and material management frameworks
- Intermediate Excel skills for data management and analysis
- Familiarity with Repairable/Rotable processes and component lifecycle management
