St John XXIII Catholic College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Classroom Teacher to join our vibrant learning community in Stanhope Gardens.
As a Primary teacher at St John XXIII, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the spiritual and academic growth of our students. We value creativity, flexibility, and the integration of modern technology to engage students and inspire them on their faith journey.
This is a Temporary Part-time position working 0.8FTE (Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri) for Term 4 2025.
To join our vibrant school community, you will:
- Structure lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of each student, meeting them where they are at in their learning journey
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans
- Interpret and use student assessment data to diagnose barriers to learning and to challenge students to improve their performance, improving the overall academic achievement of the school community
- Engage with our school community within and beyond the classroom to enrich the educational context for students and work to promote the links between school, home and community in the social and intellectual development of your students
- A passion for transformational education, integrated into curriculum and delivered in a faith based environment
- Well-developed communication, administration and interpersonal skills
- Experience and interest in supporting students with diverse learning needs may be advantageous

Qualifications:
Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation (Working with Children Check clearance).
Eligible according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year degree or 75% complete).
Experience in supporting diverse learning needs is an advantage.
