Essence of the position:
We have begun the search for our Store Coordinator. In this role, you will utilise your passion, creativity and organisation skills to merchandise our wondrous Trophy Room, full of prizes for our guests. Some of your key areas of responsibility will be:
- Merchandising through storytelling: Create eye-catching, engaging and strategic product displays that tell a story
- Stock Management: Oversee ordering, receipting, and maintaining accurate stock on hand records
- Guest Engagement: Interact with every guest, ensuring they have a memorable and fun experience
- Sales and Performance: Monitor sales trends, optimise stock levels, and ensure the store meets the desires of our guests
- Team Leadership: Inspire and empower team to maintain visual merchandising standards and deliver outstanding guest experiences
- Presentation: Keep the products and department clean, well-organised, and visually appealing at all times
- Event and Seasonal Planning: Plan and execute themed displays and promotions for peak periods and special events
Putting people neatly into boxes isn’t really our style, but there are a few key factors that will be really important when it comes to selecting the right candidate for this position:
- 1-2 years’ experience required in visual merchandising and retail management in a high-volume stock environment
- You bring a guest-obsessed mindset to the table; you love making guests smile and being the creator behind unforgettable moments
- You have a strong attention to detail and creativity to bring your merchandising story to life
- You have a strong grasp on excellent stock control and inventory management skills
- You have a hands-on, energetic and team-oriented approach
- You hold the ability to problem solve and think on your feet in a busy, bustling environment
- You hold valid First Aid, CPR and WWCC (Working with Children Check) Certifications
