About the Role
Centennial is seeking a Stores and Supply Officer on a 12-month fixed term contract at our northern based operation – Mandalong Mine.
Conveniently located in the Lake Macquarie region, a short drive from Newcastle and the Central Coast, this role is an excellent opportunity to work in the mining industry in a prime location.
The Stores and Supply Officer is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced, high-demand production environment. This hands-on role includes forklift operations, stock handling, and ensuring the timely and accurate flow of goods.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate forklifts safely, including performing heavy and unusual lifts, in compliance with site standards and safety regulations.
- Receive, unload, and check incoming goods against documentation.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in alignment with production schedules.
- Create and manage basic purchasing and repair orders as required.
- Apply mechanical and electrical aptitude to assist with handling technical parts and equipment.
- Assist in coordinating freight and transport with a focus on cost-effective, geo-efficient decisions.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet operational goals.

Suitable candidates will have
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role within a high-production environment.
- Competent forklift operator with a valid license and experience in heavy and unusual lifts.
- Experience using ERP systems (Pulse or similar).
- Basic experience with purchasing and repair order processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse workflows.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude to handle technical parts and support repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
- Able to work under pressure, independently and as a self-starter, while also being team-oriented.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
