About the role
Our state-of-the-art Operations Centre (OC) located near the Perth domestic airport is a key component of our Mine of the Future™ vision. The OC control room operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines, rail, power and ports. It enables all our mines, ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location, optimising site activities from 1,500km away.
We're looking for a Supervisor- Operations Port Control to lead a highly engaged team and controllers in the remote operation and optimisation of assets for our Iron Ore Operations.
This role will see you working closely across a large and diverse stakeholder group consisting of both operational and functional leaders and you’ll need to utilise your outstanding ability to partner with other areas of our networked organisation to influence positive outcomes for the business.
You will be utilising cutting edge technology to drive production performance, productivity improvements and assist in building a highly productive and predictable organisation. You'll operate in-line with business priorities (safety, people, production, cash and partnership) while being supported in developing and implementing key productivity improvements to drive operational efficiency. Building and developing our people capability will also continue to be a strong focus for our leaders.
