We are looking for a Supervisor Project Delivery with a passion for safety, quality and people to join our Pannawonica team, while partnering with and managing our contract partners. This role has strong safety leadership exposure and is a great opportunity to showcase your coaching, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
Reporting to the Superintendent Project Delivery, the role will require you to:
- Adhere to all Rio Tinto standards, policies and procedures
- Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practices
- Drafting scopes of work in collaboration with stakeholders
- Site mobilisation, performance monitoring, co-ordinate works around other site activities, resolve design queries and delay issues.
- Coordinating and supervising project activities, whilst ensuring the projects are completed safely according to RioTinto Standards, Policies and procedures, established schedules, budgets and quality standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate Project Cost recording and reporting with continuous improvement mindset to challenge current processes.
- Ensuring all work aligns with RTIO Minor Capital Delivery Framework (MCDF)
What you’ll bring
- A Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver's Licence (manual)
- Trade Qualification Electrical (preferred)
- Proven safety leadership skills and the ability to positively engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in project and contractor management, ideally within iron ore operations
- Experience using SAP.
- Knowledge and understanding of RTIO work management fundamentals
- Familiarity in Project Management, Iron Ore Contractor Management (CM One), highly regarded.
