Sydney Trains’ Tangara fleet makes up a quarter of our suburban rail fleet. To ensure its longevity, the Tangara Fleet Life Extension project will upgrade operating systems, modernise onboard passenger information systems, and enhance accessibility features for mobility-impaired passengers. The project will also help build our future workforce capabilities, strengthen local economies and support the long-term growth of NSW’s transportation industry.



In this role, you'll:


  • Assist with the management of the Tangara Fleet Life Extension project by working closely with this team and BAU teams to implement Lean within their locations, delivering operational excellence and improvements.

  • Review and manage the effectiveness of procurement and Rotables management and initiate appropriate action to ensure achievement of agreed targets on the TFLE project

  • Manage TFLE contract and price negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.

About you


You are an experienced Supply Chain Management professional with experience in management, logistics, supply chain or other relevant discipline.


You are an experienced people leader, and have a proven record of managing, developing and leading teams within a complex operational environment.
