The Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide direct, person-centred support to NDIS participants in their homes and in the community. No two shifts will be the same — but you’ll always be making an impact.
Support may include:
- Daily living tasks (meal prep, domestic tasks, personal care)
- Community access (appointments, events, shopping, social activities)
- Transport and companionship
- Building confidence, independence and life skills
- Following support plans and working closely with families and coordinators
- Active and inactive sleepovers as required (must be comfortable with overnight support)
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine, reliable and respectful person
- Great communicator who can build trust and healthy boundaries
- Someone who values routine but adapts when needed
- Confidence working independently
- Experience with NDIS or disability support is a bonus — but not essential
- Willingness to learn and follow Urban Buddy's person-first, no-BS approach
Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle
- First Aid & CPR
- Working rights in Australia

Job Types: Full-time, Casual
Pay: $33.00 – $50.20 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
