Our LitterBusters team is focussed on keeping high visitation and publicly visible parts of our City pristine and welcoming, for residents and visitors alike. As one of our sweeper operators, you’ll play a key part in keeping our public areas, roads, footpaths and car parks clean and tidy by assisting with the maintenance and drainage of roads and car parks in accordance with the sweeping programme.
Previous experience operating a sweeper and a current ‘HR’ class driver’s licence are essential. The successful applicant should possess experience in the operation of a sweeper and a ‘HR’ class driver’s licence.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
- Previous sweeper operation experience
- Developed verbal communication/customer service skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Understanding of and commitment to safe working practices
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Current ‘HR’ class driver’s licence
- Police clearance
This position offers a gross wage of $1,696 per week which incorporates all allowances including the adverse conditions allowance and penalty rates, and:
- 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
