Northern Beaches Secondary College Balgowlah Boys Campus (enrolment 1140 students) is a comprehensive Year 7-12 boys' high school. The school has a commitment to innovative teaching to engage boys in their learning. Students are challenged to achieve their personal best in all aspects of their education in a caring learning environment. The school has an active Parents and Citizens Association which supports the school in its provision of resources and extracurricular activities. The school's reputation as a consistently high performing school stems from its drive for continual improvement. Balgowlah Boys Campus has been a lighthouse school for explicit teaching strategies to build a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy, including writing and critical thinking. The school is committed to continually improving classroom learning with teacher professional learning as the key driver. The school has a Teacher Mentor program to improve student engagement in stages 4 and 5. Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability to engage students in drama and co curricular drama opportunities including productions and performances
Ability to work as a part of a collaborative vibrant and creative learning community to build high quality engaging programs, content, and assessment.
Experience and/or willingness to teach Stage 6 Drama
