About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher – Individual Support to deliver engaging, industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals in aged care and disability services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess training aligned with VET and curriculum requirements.
  • Develop and maintain student learning programs and resources.
  • Support student engagement, attendance, and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with industry and participate in curriculum development and validation.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
  • Promote and participate in continuous improvement and professional development.

Skills and Experience Required

  • CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged/Disability) or higher qualification.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Recent experience in aged care and/or disability services, with a focus on aged care .
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and learner-centred teaching.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and ICT skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
  • Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (desirable).

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)

  • A National Police Check
