We’re looking for a motivated team leader to guide a skilled crew across a variety of construction and maintenance projects – including road building, pipe laying, concreting, general labouring, and operating small machinery and plant.
In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll work closely with your supervisor to coordinate daily operations, plan ahead and ensure all works are delivered to the highest standards. This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- Substantial experience in civil construction and maintenance.
- Leadership qualities and supervisory skills with knowledge and experience in leading a team to success.
- Ability to plan and organise tasks/work of a work crew to meet schedules and standards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to problem solve, build relationships with all stakeholders, and provide the best customer experience.
- Ability to contribute to and uphold Council’s Safety-First culture.

Application Criteria
