Job Description

As the Team Leader of Physiotherapy you will provide clinical supervision and operational support to the physiotherapy team. Alongside the Clinical Lead for Physiotherapy, you will lead the provision of high quality, client-centred physiotherapy service. You will be responsible for the operational and strategic performance of the team, in collaboration with the wider Health and Wellbeing Program leadership team.


Working as part of the Physiotherapy team, and reporting to the Program Manager for Health and Wellbeing, you will be responsible for:

    You will be responsible for the day-to-day coaching, clinical and operational leadership, support and direction to foster and develop a strong, engaged and effective team.
    You will ensure the provision of optimal, effective and sustainable client care and optimise clinical and business outcomes, meeting clinical performance targets within a growth, developmental and future orientated environment.
    You will have a 0.4 EFT Clinical component of role

To be successful in this role you will bring demonstrated experience leading a Physiotherapy team as part of a multidisciplinary program, and lead by example in our values driven program. You will have substantial clinical experience across a diversity of caseloads and funding streams. To support your leadership, you will have demonstrated skills in;

    Coordination, engagement, supervision and management of a large clinical team across multiple service delivery sites
    You are confident in setting measurable objectives and managing competing priorities and deadlines.
    Delivering high quality clinical care and support to your clients and the wider clinical teams at DPV Health
    Effective communication across different organisational levels and at health literacy levels.
    Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and maintain registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.

The fine print

    Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check, International Police Check (if applicable), hold a valid WWCC.
    Full driver license and travel between sites required.
