Each Gametraders store is individually owned and you will be working for one of the most awarded stores in the Gametraders Group including Colonnades Retailer of the Year 2024. Each Team Member plays a key role in the store’s success and you’ll be one of the faces of the store greeting customers with excellent customer service. This is an ongoing Casual Level 1 position replacing an existing staff member who has waved us goodbye to work in their chosen field of study.
You will be available Thursday nights and weekends for approximately 8 hrs a week on a fortnightly roster with the potential for this to increase over busy periods including Christmas. Knowledge of our product range is desirable – it’s fun to share your passion with our customers!
Some of your core responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service, processing and maximising sales
- Pricing and merchandising stock to store standards
- Answering phone calls and online queries
To be considered for the position you will ideally have:
- The ability to communicate with all ages and people from all walks of life
- Be hard working and have excellent personal presentation with lots of energy
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and the willingness to learn other systems
- Availability to work Thursday nights, weekends and peak periods over December and January
