About the Role
This role plays an important part in first impressions for our guests. The Concierge with work closely with our Chief Concierge and is required to offer guests an unforgettable 5-star experience with excellent service, consistent with The Langham, Sydney standards, policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Meeting and greeting guests.
- Delivery of luggage to guest rooms in a timely manner
- Explaining the workings of the room inclusive of room features in line with operating standards.
- Providing information on local attractions and activities, and assisting with specific guest requirements
- Reviewing arrival lists and anticipating guest needs
- Maintaining lobby and driveway areas, hotel vehicles and porter equipment
- Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests.
- Ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are impeccable and in accordance with organisational policy and guidelines.
- Assisting other areas such as Front Office where required or directed.
Skills & Experience
Your skills and experience will include:
- Previous experience in a similar role (will be highly regarded)
- Les Clefs d'Or concierge is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Possessing a high standard of grooming and personal presentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Current open manual driver's license.
- Ability to embrace and demonstrate Langham Hospitality Group values.
- Availability throughout the week & weekends.
