About the role
AFF is seeking a motivated Trainee Farm Manager to join our team at Telleraga Station, located 30 minutes west of Moree, NSW. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside an experienced Farm Manager, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of farm management while developing leadership and operational skills for future progression.
You will assist with supervising farm staff, coordinating daily operations, implementing cropping programs, monitoring crop performance and supporting safety initiatives. This role is well-suited to someone looking to take the next step towards a Farm Manager position while contributing to the smooth and efficient running of a large-scale agricultural operation.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the Farm Manager in supervising and delegating tasks to employees.
Assist with staff onboarding, inductions and safety meetings.
Liaising with contractors to ensure compliance with farm safety standards.
Conducting crop inspections and implementing cropping and spraying programs.
Overseeing machinery operation and maintenance.
Monitoring key farm performance metrics and contributing to operational planning.
