Role purpose
The Transaction Manager is responsible for overseeing and facilitating all aspects of transaction processes within Vicinity. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting financial analyses, and managing stakeholder communications to optimize transaction outcomes. By implementing process improvements, the Transaction Manager aims to enhance efficiency and drives strategic growth for Vicinity relating to the buying and selling of asset and the general curation of the portfolio.
Key Accountabilities

Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure all transactions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify potential risks associated with transactions and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Review all information disclosure through the lens of minimising risk and maximising returns on the property

Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and modelling to assess the viability and risks of potential transactions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Assemble information from across the business and compile finance packs for disclosure to potential purchasers

Transaction Oversight
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of transaction processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all transaction-related inquiries, maintaining clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and partners to achieve favourable outcomes.

Project Management
  • Oversee multiple transaction projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and report on outcomes.
