The role:
We are seeking an experienced Vendor Compliance & Governance Manager to join us.
In this role, you will lead our vendor compliance processes and ensure adherence to legal, contractual, and client requirements. You will develop comprehensive compliance programs, oversee vendor onboarding, conduct audits, and manage risk mitigation strategies across our vendor relationships.
This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate based in either our corporate office in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane CBD at least 3 days a week.
Snapshot of the roles:
- Lead vendor compliance and governance processes across the organization
- Develop and implement compliance policies aligning with legal and regulatory requirements
- Conduct compliance audits and assessments to ensure vendor obligations are met
- Monitor vendor compliance status and identify areas requiring review and action
- Collaborate with Legal, Strategic Client Management and Sourcing teams to ensure compliance continuity
- Establish a new Centre of Excellence for company-wide compliance framework development
- Provide compliance training to vendors and internal teams

Requirements:
- Tertiary education in Economics, Business, Commerce, or related disciplines. MCIPS or equivalent industry certification will be an added advantage
- 7+ years' experience in Procurement with compliance and governance focus
- Prior experience in facilities management or indirect category management would be well regarded
- Proven experience with senior management engagement
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to travel to attend meetings at client offices, both domestic and regional as required
