About the Role

The Risk Governance Manager is a newly created role supporting the General Manager, Risk Governance and Strategy in delivering and managing a robust governance process. This role will support the smooth and effective management of ASX’s Risk Management Committees, committees chaired by the ASX CRO and the Risk Leadership team. The Risk Governance Manager will be the central point of coordination for all management reporting submissions from the Risk Division.

What you will be doing:

  • Primary support for General Manager, Risk Governance and Strategy in the design and implementation of appropriate tools, technology and processes to support the effective and efficient operation of the relevant committees and submissions

  • Set up and manage the Forward Agenda for the relevant committees and Risk Division reporting requirements

  • Agenda and pack preparation, including the collation of clear, well written reporting, minutes and papers for Executive, Board and Regulator audiences

  • Regular review and maintenance of relevant committee T erms of Referenc e

  • Manage and report on actions resulting from the relevant committees.

What you will bring:

  • Gained experience in either a company secretariat, risk governance and, or PMO role
  • Gained experience in working with Executive Leadership or Senior Leadership teams
  • Gained experience in relevant software programs to generate data, reports and presentations e.g. Diligent, JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong internal relationships and collaborate and work effectively across teams
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritise work, a demonstrated ability to deliver to deadlines and strong attention to detail
  • Communication skills – excellent oral, written and presentation

Nice to have:

  • Tertiary education or other relevant industry experience
  • Gained experience in the design and implementation of reporting and governance processes
  • Ability to grasps key concepts quickly and challenge the status quo
