What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrate experience in cleaning practices and systems, within a health care setting or similar environment
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position as listed in the physical requirements in the position description.
- Able to demonstrate a reasonable understanding of Work Health & Safety. Ability to interpret and follow Material Safety Data sheets (MSD's), Safe Work Practices sheets (SWP's) and written instructions.
- Current Drivers Licence and willingness to use for work purposes across the LHD.
- Previous experience as a Wardsperson is not essential, however would be an advantageous.
- Previous experience in the care of patients / clients.
- Good verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work Mornings, Evenings & Night duty shifts, across a 7 day week roster
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
