Description: Overview of role:
As our Wastewater Process Commissioning Supervisor, you will play a critical role in bridging project delivery and operational excellence for the Bendigo and Castlemaine Water Reclamation Plant upgrades.
Reporting to the Lead Process Engineer, you will lead the operational interface for our major wastewater treatment upgrades. Your focus will be on ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant commissioning of new plant assets and processes, while supporting seamless integration with ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Wastewater Process Commissioning Supervisor, you’ll be accountable for:
Act as the operational subject matter expert for major projects, including the Bendigo Solids Handling Upgrade Project.
Lead operational input during design, construction, commissioning, and proving phases.
Coordinate between contractors, consultants, and Coliban Water teams to ensure smooth project integration.
Build in-depth process knowledge, develop operating procedures, and mentor the wastewater operations team.
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure new assets are safe to operate and maintain.
About you:
10+ years’ operational experience in the water sector (wastewater focus preferred).
Strong and proven expertise in wastewater treatment processes with hands-on experience.
Proven ability to manage wastewater treatment infrastructure within regulations.

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 4 salary range $93,548 - $112,895 + Superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience. Job Type: Full time, Fixed term 3 years.
