Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable Workforce Rostering Officer to join our Community Aged Care team, with a specific focus on Allied Health and Clinical rosters. You’ll thrive in a busy, collaborative environment, balancing complex scheduling requirements while keeping our customers at the heart of every decision. If you're confident managing fast-moving rosters, highly organised, and understand the importance of aligning the right staff to the right care, we’d love to hear from you.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Facilitate end-to-end rostering for Nurses & Allied Health professionals, ensuring timely, compliant, and person-centred scheduling.
- Match customer needs with staff skills and qualifications while considering preferences, contract terms, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate shift coverage for planned and unplanned leave with a calm, solutions-focused approach.
- Collaborate closely with clinical leaders, coordinators, and workforce teams to keep rosters running smoothly.
- Maintain rostering systems, inboxes, and timesheets accurately and in accordance with enterprise agreements and best practice.
- Use data and reporting to identify trends, improve efficiency, and support workforce planning.
- Contribute to a responsive, high-performing team that genuinely impacts the lives of older South Australians.
What do you need to bring?
- Proven experience in rostering (essential), ideally within Allied Health, Nursing, or community-based care settings.
- Strong understanding of rostering systems, awards/enterprise agreements, and workforce optimisation principles.
- Clear, confident communication skills and a compassionate, customer-focused mindset.
- Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- High digital literacy and confidence working across multiple systems and platforms.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and contribute positively to a values-driven team.
