We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable Workforce Rostering Officer to join our Community Aged Care team, with a specific focus on Allied Health and Clinical rosters. You’ll thrive in a busy, collaborative environment, balancing complex scheduling requirements while keeping our customers at the heart of every decision. If you're confident managing fast-moving rosters, highly organised, and understand the importance of aligning the right staff to the right care, we’d love to hear from you.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Facilitate end-to-end rostering for Nurses & Allied Health professionals, ensuring timely, compliant, and person-centred scheduling.
  • Match customer needs with staff skills and qualifications while considering preferences, contract terms, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate shift coverage for planned and unplanned leave with a calm, solutions-focused approach.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical leaders, coordinators, and workforce teams to keep rosters running smoothly.
  • Maintain rostering systems, inboxes, and timesheets accurately and in accordance with enterprise agreements and best practice.
  • Use data and reporting to identify trends, improve efficiency, and support workforce planning.
  • Contribute to a responsive, high-performing team that genuinely impacts the lives of older South Australians.

What do you need to bring?

  • Proven experience in rostering (essential), ideally within Allied Health, Nursing, or community-based care settings.
  • Strong understanding of rostering systems, awards/enterprise agreements, and workforce optimisation principles.
  • Clear, confident communication skills and a compassionate, customer-focused mindset.
