We’re seeking an Academic Operations Lead to manage the operational and quality aspects of our delivery, ensuring training and assessment processes are efficient, compliant, and consistently applied across the business. This role works closely with the Training Manager and is key to embedding change, improving processes, and ensuring smooth delivery operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee academic processes, workflows, and quality checks to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Manage contract assessor allocations, SLAs, and maintenance of assessor qualifications and approvals.
- Monitor assessment outcomes, student feedback, and trends to identify and address issues.
- Lead validation and pre-validation activities to ensure robust assessment practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close process gaps and improve efficiency.
- Ensure operational changes are effectively implemented and embedded.
Qualifications
About you:
- Strong operational or academic management experience in vocational education.
- Sound knowledge of RTO compliance requirements and quality assurance frameworks.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to implement and embed process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- Desirable: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
