Area Manager – Aluminium Building Systems (South East Melbourne)

We’re seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to help accelerate growth across the South-East Melbourne corridor. You'll represent Capral’s market-leading Building Systems range – covering residential and commercial aluminium window and door framing systems, security screens, and other home improvement solutions.

This is a field-based role with flexible hot-desk and office access at our South East Capral Centre, as well as a Docklands Showroom and Campbellfield Distribution Centre. You’ll build strong, long-term partnerships with fabricators across a key growth area—playing a central role in Capral’s expansion and customer satisfaction strategy in Victoria.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and growing a diverse sales portfolio, including some of Victoria’s most established and emerging fabricators
  • Solution-selling Capral’s aluminium systems with support from local technical experts, architectural leads, and customer service teams
  • Developing and executing strategic customer plans alongside supply chain, operations, warehousing, software, and marketing
  • Supporting customer acquisition and executing local growth strategies to expand Capral’s presence
  • Becoming a trusted technical advisor, leveraged from access to our Melbourne-based NATA-accredited testing lab and national product managers

What We’re Looking For

  • A self-motivated professional who can plan, structure, and take ownership of their territory
  • The right attitude, with a track record of managing a sales portfolio and hitting KPIs
  • Experience in technical or solution-based selling—transferable skills from related industries are welcome
  • Background in window and door systems, or aluminium (Capral or competitor systems) representing or fabricating, is also highly regarded
  • A strong communicator with a hunter mindset—someone who follows up, follows through, and builds trust
  • Full driver’s licence
