Your New Role
Reporting to Manager, Accounts Payable, you will support the wider team in processing and managing the day to day payments of the Fund in a timely and accurate manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring the data reported is accurate and complete which includes a continuous review process and will involve challenging assumptions, identification of trends and recommendation of solutions.
This is a 6 month contract role.
Some of your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Review invoices processed through Straight Through Processing (STP) to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate STP exceptions, identify root causes, and collaborate with the technology team to implement solutions.
- Resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders (POs), and goods receipts through detailed analysis.
- Prepare and execute fortnightly and ad hoc payment runs in accordance with payment schedules.
- Coordinate with Procurement and business units to facilitate the onboarding of new suppliers
What You’ll Need
Outstanding customer service – responding to supplier and internal staff queries in a professional manner and on a timely basis.
Analytical & financial management skills, including the ability to identify when data and analysis is materially incorrect, and implement solutions;
Manage the end to end accounts payable process flow including resolving purchase orders, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and process documentation.
Demonstrated stakeholder relationship skills, including the ability to initiate, maintain and develop relationships with peers with the objective of gaining cooperation and meeting deadlines.
Competence and experience in the use and maintenance of accounts payable systems ( e.g. Oracle)
Capacity to work under pressure in an accurate and timely manner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
