About the role
Accounts Payable Officer - Finance & Corporate Services
Colac Area Health is a values-based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
Colac Area Health currently has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our busy Finance & Corporate Services team.
The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable function at Colac Area Health. This role provides a high level of finance and administrative support. We're looking for the next superstar to join our small but mighty team. You'll need to have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
What’s required?
Essential:
- Experience in Accounts Payable or similar role
- Well-developed computer skills and literacy, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a specific focus on numerical work
- Ability to prioritise work and meet tight timelines
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff members, customers and other stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Financial Management Information Systems (i.e. Oracle or other)
- Advanced Customer Service Skills
