THE OPPORTUNITY

Salary: $66,921 - $72,661 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Position Status and Time Fraction: Ongoing, Full-Time 1.0 EFT.
Location: Chadstone campus - onsite parking and close proximity to public transport.

The Accounts Receivable Officer plays an important role in the delivery of the accounts receivable function. This role manages the receivables portfolio of the Institute. This includes managing, monitoring and overseeing the student revenue receivables in the Banner Student Management System. This role is also responsible for the management and collection of the Institute’s outstanding debtors.


ABOUT YOU

  • Certificate or Diploma in a related field (eg Business, Accounting, Finance etc.)
  • Minimum two years’ experience working in an accounts receivable role.
  • Prior experience in managing and monitoring accounts receivable debtors and pursuing outstanding debtors and completing bank reconciliations.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and analysing complex data, analysing large datasets and providing recommendations to management.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team demonstrating a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and manage competing priorities.
  • Prior experience with using TechOne or the Banner Student Management System (desirable).
