Sydney Conservatorium of Music is in search of an experienced Administration Officer . This position not only provides general administrative services but also offers operational support in areas such as records management, finance/accounting, and event management.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- coordinate the procurement and travel process within the school using Unibuy, PeopleSoft and university systems, liaise with the relevant centres of expertise to ensure compliance and accurate submission of requests and deadlines met.
- maintain and update records and balance information for reconciliation and reporting purposes.
- provide general administrative services and operational support to the school including Dean's office and Faculty Committees
- supports the delivery of events, conferences, workshops, and alumni-related activities as needed by the School.
About you
- holds relevant qualifications in business administration or equivalent with relevant administration experience
- has demonstrated experience and success in a similar position providing general administrative services operational support
- experience, ideally acquired in a higher education setting, with monitoring expenditures for reconciliation and budget tracking, as well as managing invoice payments and purchases
- exhibits strong problem-solving skills, uses initiative and sound judgment, and effectively prioritises workload during busy periods.
