We are a progressive and busy hospital, growing by word of mouth with a large team comprising of Veterinarians, Nurses, Animal Attendants and Administrative Staff.
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-orientated Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis (or part-time for the right candidate!). We are looking for someone who is available to work a variety of shifts from Monday to Friday. As an Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth and efficient running of our veterinary hospital. Working alongside our team of vets, nurses, and fellow admin staff, you’ll be involved in a wide range of essential operational tasks including:
- Purchasing and stock management
- Staff rostering and HR support
- Banking and financial administration
- Workplace Health & Safety compliance
- Assisting with regular stocktakes and general admin support
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and enjoys contributing to the overall success of a compassionate, animal-focused workplace.
To be successful for this position, you will have:
- Previous experience in administrative role including purchasing, rostering, banking, stocktake, human resources and work health & safety (preferred, yet not essential).
- Experience within the Veterinary industry would be highly regarded.
- A friendly, engaging personality with a natural ability to connect with others.
- Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with our clients.
- An eye for detail, a good work ethic and a willingness to keep learning and improving both themselves and the practice.
- A genuine love for animals and a compassionate attitude towards pet owners.
