McLean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes Southwest of Toowoomba. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations.
We’re looking for an Agriculture Administrator to support our agriculture team with day-to-day operations, data management, reporting, procurement, and general administration. This role is ideal for someone organised, detail-focused, and confident in juggling multiple priorities.

Daily duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Agriculture General Manager and Organic Nutrients Manager.
- Assist in day-to-day operational administration, ensuring timely and accurate support to teams across multiple sites.
- Prepare, maintain and generate regular reports to support planning, compliance, and operational reviews for livestock, cropping, and compost operations.
- Coordinate and track project activities, meetings, and site visits, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and monitoring action items.
- Coordinate travel logistics, including bookings and itineraries
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to manage purchase orders and deliveries.
- Assist with sales documentation for agricultural commodities and compost.
- Assist in reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with agricultural best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Keep filing systems organised and up to date.
- Provide flexible administrative assistance across the division as required.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally within an agriculture-related environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally to support activities at McLean Farms’ remote sites in Vitoria and other locations as needed.
