As the Adelaide Airport Manager, you will be responsible for the overall strategic leadership, development and management of the Customer Service team at the Airport to achieve safety, service, operational, people, regulatory, and financial KPIs.
Reporting to the regional Head of Airports, you will provide strategic leadership over Qantas’ airport operations to ensure optimal customer outcomes are achieved.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing large, diverse teams in complex operational environments
- Ability to drive outcomes aligned to strategic business priorities
- Strong Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) experience in unionised working environments
- Demonstrated success in managing disputes, grievances, investigations and performance management
- Strong executive stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of collaboration across business units, functions and teams
- Demonstrated experience in successfully developing and managing complex operational strategies, and identifying opportunities for change and development
- Strong influencing skills, resilience and a proven ability to navigate complexity in an ever-changing operational environment
- An understanding of business fundamentals, with a proven customer centric approach through anticipating evolving customer needs and acting on them at an individual level
- Strong analytical skills with high level planning and lateral problem-solving skills
- Sound understanding of and experience operating within Safety management systems
- Knowledge of (and demonstrated commitment to) the principles and practices of employment equity, ethical conduct and workplace health and safety
