Are you a talented Allied Health Assistant dedicated to providing administrative and clinical assistance services?
Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) is looking for an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to provide dedicated assistance within the Mental Health Acute Unit. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively while providing clinical and administrative support services. This role will be based out of our Wagga Wagga Mental Health Service.
About the role
As the Mental Health Allied Health Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the provision of high-quality client care at Wagga Wagga.
Your responsibilities involve:
- Correspondence and document management - including the organisation of various deadlines and communications within a multidisciplinary team.
- Perform and assist with activities under the supervision and direction of treating Allied Health Professionals
- Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and the multidisciplinary team

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or formal commitment to complete this training within 3 years of employment) or other relevant qualification
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with demonstrate ability to take initiative
