About the Position
We are looking to welcome an Allied Health Practitioner or Specialist Educator to provide trauma-informed therapeutic service to children, young people and their families in educational settings.
- Full time position.
Level 6 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $110,110 - $114,984 + super.
- Government funded until 31 January 2026 with possible extension.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Build and maintain partnerships with local schools, community and government agencies.
- Facilitating and strengthening supportive relationships between children and the key adults in their educational setting.
- Collaboratively Identify barriers, and create plans to overcomes these, while developing student and staff skills to improve students access, participation and achievement in their educational environment.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Allied Health or Education.
- Post grad qualifications desirable in inclusion/trauma informed practice.
- Experience working with children, young people and their families.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy to children, young people and their families.
- Knowledge of the education system.
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
